This is interesting and may be used to discuss the effects of biological factors on memory. Research suggests that your diet can effect your cognitive functioning significantly at old age. The reason why the Mediterranean diet is so beneficial is because it has abundant sources of Omega-3 fatty acids, which reduce the chance of coronary heart disease and may prevent cancer.
