This may be an interesting study to use for the learning outcome how social and cultural factors affect cognitive processes, in this case how technology and internet affects memory. In this study, participants were asked to type in factual statements into a computer. One group were told that the statements would be saved, the other group that the statements would not be saved. The group that were told that the statements would not be saved remembered them better afterwards. The same may apply to information on the internet. If we know that the information is accessible on the internet, we may not make an effort to remember it.
